The Junior Varsity Football team will play Springwood at home on Tuesday, September 2 at 6:00 p.m. Go Rebels!

The Lady Rebels Volleyball teams will play at home on Tuesday, September 2 at 4:00 p.m. against Autauga.

On Tuesday, Sept. 2  Andrea Crawford from the University of Montevallo will meet with Juniors in Ms. Puckett’s room from 8:20 a.m.- 8:47 a.m., and Seniors in Mrs. Ingram’s room from 8:50 a.m.-9:20 a.m.

On Tuesday, Sept. 9  Shelley Kater from Jacksonville State University will meet with Juniors in Ms. Puckett’s room from 8:20 a.m.-8:47 a.m., and Seniors in Mrs. Ingram’s room from 8:50 a.m.-9:20 a.m.

Fall individual pictures are scheduled for Tuesday, September 30 beginning at 8:00 A.M. Bring your “cheeeese” that day

Junior Class Fundraisers:

The Junior Class will be selling $1 chances for a $100 gas card beginning tomorrow in the lobby of  CVA. Drawing will be on Thursday, Oct. 2 during halftime at the Powder Puff game. All proceeds go toward the Junior/Senior Prom.

Also available in the lobby usually every Friday the Junior class will be selling cheese and cinnamon rolls for $2 each. For $1 each students can wear hats and sunglasses.

Mission and Origins

Since 1970 Coosa Valley Academy has strived to provide a college preparatory education in a safe and orderly Christian environment that will instill in each student the desire to fulfill his or her greatest academic potential while encouraging mutual respect among students and staff in order to prepare well-rounded individuals for success in life. Coosa Valley Academy is non-sectarian, co-educational, college preparatory school, administered by a non-profit corporation chartered under the laws of the State of Alabama. CVA is accredited by the Alabama Independent School Association and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.



Troy Leadership Conference

Juniors and Seniors are invited to attend Troy Univerity’s Freshman Forum Excellence in Leadership Conference on Oct.2, 2014. The cost is $40.00 per person and includes lunch and a t-shirt. Cost for parents to attend is $25.00  Please get a form from Mrs. Smith, and return it no later than 8:00 A.M. on Tuesday, Sept. 9 with  a check for $40.00 made payable to Troy University. No late forms will be accepted because the money must be mailed to Troy University.

The goal off the conference is to enhance the leadership abilities of high school students, and in the pastit has been an outstanding experience for CVA’s students. the theme this year is “Leading Beyond Borders”.

The bus will leave at 5:45 A.M. and return at approximately 4:00 P.M.
